This Order enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regulation establishes that authorization for food safety shall be intended the document issued by the sanitary-veterinary and food safety directorate of the district, respectively of Bucharest, certifying that the production units of germinated seeds meet the conditions of authorization for food safety established by European Union and national legislation. Germinated seed production unit shall be intended unit with adequate spaces, facilities and installations for the reception, storage, conditioning and germination of seeds for food production, as well as spaces necessary for storage and delivery thereof. The activities of production of germinated seeds may be carried out only in units producing germinated seeds in possession of the authorization for food safety and enterprise registration certificate issued by the sanitary-veterinary directorate of the district, respectively of Bucharest, the model of which is contained in the Annex. The activities of enterprises producing germinated seeds shall be subject to food safety control by sanitary-veterinary authority which can suspend or prohibit production in case of non-compliance of the enterprise with food safety requirements.
