Biological substantiation shall be requested in the following cases and for the following purposes: (a) classification of wild fauna species by categories and transfer thereof from one category to another; (b) determination of total allowable catch; (c) regulation of the number of wild fauna species; (d) aquaculture, acclimatization, introduction and hybridization of wild fauna species; (e) restrictions and ban on management of wild fauna species; (f) assessment of the impact of economic activities on wild fauna species and habitats thereof; and (g) reclamative catch.
