Procurement of soft resin shall be carried out in forests destined for timber extraction. Tapping shall be prohibited in the following cases: (a) forest species that are hotbeds of pests prior to extermination thereof; (b) forests under impact of forest fires, pests and other negative environmental factors; (c) forests where clean cutting and selective cutting of mature and overmature stand for timber extraction is prohibited; and (d) forest plantations for seed purposes and forest genetic reserves.
