Abstract

The purpose of the present Order is to establish minimum requirements for equipment of fishing vessels ensuring quality of exploration of marine fish resources. Only specialized fishing vessels must be engaged in expeditionary exploration of marine fish resources. The types of vessels used for the expeditionary exploration of marine fish resources, their fishing gear, and navigation, scientific, processing and other equipment must correspond to the purposes and targets of exploration. All fishing vessels must ensure prevention of marine pollution by technological, consumer and other waste. Compulsory equipment on board a fishing vessel includes navigation equipment, acoustic equipment, hydrological equipment and computer equipment and fishing gear.
