Actually, in Ukraine the volume of accumulation of waste, the number of landfills and waste disposal sites are increasing, the sanitary condition of inhabited areas is deteriorating. The main sources of waste generation are the mining enterprises, chemical, metallurgical, machine-building, fuel-energy, and construction and agro-industrial complexes. The system of sanitary purification of settlements is imperfect, there is no interaction between the bodies of state sanitary-epidemiological service, environmental protection and housing and communal services with the purpose of exercising control over the sanitary condition of territories, as well as collecting, removing, disposing of livestock byproducts.
