Abstract This Order establishes that users of aquatic bioresources who engage in fishing are required to mark passive fishing gear, as well as active fishing gear, the number of which is limited by this Regime, in order to determine their ownership. Tags are attached to each fishing gear: joint seines – on the stretch at the entrance directly next to the wing; bow net - to the upper part of the frame, which forms the entrance to the bow net; lifting traps and creels - to the upper part of the frame; stationary nets - to the upper part at a distance of up to 1 meter from one of the ends of the net. Users of aquatic biological resources must timely inform the competent authorities of the detection of diseases of aquatic biological resources, cases of fish-kill, mass dying of risks thereof. It establishes authorized fishing gear and fishing methods. Bycatch of aquatic bioresources prohibited for fishing and aquatic bioresources subject to a spawning ban during fishing, as well as animals that do not belong to aquatic bioresources (amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals), should be immediately returned to the natural environment, regardless of their condition. When returning such animals to their natural environment, it is necessary to avoid injuring them. Applications for the issuance of fishing authorization must be submitted to the State Fisheries Agency no later than fifteen working days before the start of the corresponding fishery. It is prohibited to carry out industrial operations in the dark without stationary running lights or signaling devices. It is prohibited to carry out industrial fishing during the year in the areas of fishery waterbodies (parts thereof) of Ukraine listed in Annex 3. Users of aquatic bioresources must report to the territorial body of the State Fisheries Agency on volumes of extracted (caught) aquatic biological resources.
