Abstract

This Order sets forth the following procedures in response to violation of fishing regulations: (a) confiscation of fishing gear, floating craft and conveyances used for illegal catch of fish and aquatic animals and plants; (b) valuation and calculation of damage caused by illegal fishing and destruction of marketable fish species; (c) the modalities for drawing up reports on the infringement of fisheries regulations; (d) application of penalties; (e) registration of confiscated illegal catch, floating craft and fishing gear; and (f) modalities for the trade or destruction of confiscated fishing gear, floating craft and conveyances. Illegally procured caviar and fish shall be subject to compulsory confiscation and delivery to public fish processing enterprises.
