Abstract

In compliance with Decree-Law No. 154/94 of 28 May (art. 2, para. 1), the Minister of Agriculture establishes that articles 5, 13 and 19 of Order No. 344/94 are modified in the following way: the production, circulation and importation of plants shall be regulated by the competent plant protection authorities who may prohibit the entrance and diffusion of dangerous diseases, or contaminated plants (art. 5). This Order Also establishes the requirements for importing such plants. Article 13 specifies the cases in which importation of such plants is allowed for scientific purposes. Article 19 defines protection measures to be taken in order to import these plants.
