Abstract The Order applies to fishing methods applied in Greenland fishing territories for conservation purposes. Fishing nets requirements are detailed in the included Annex and some exceptions are made for their use in the fishing of determined species. In areas between the coast and a line located 3 miles outside the base lines, some fishing methods are prohibited in geographic areas set as under articles 9-10. Among the prohibited methods of fishing: explosives, poisonous or anaesthetic substances and guns.
