Abstract

This Order establishes that the concession or authorization requests, for extraction of federal public waters for industrial or hygienic purposes, that are directed toward the Special Secretariat of the Environment - SEMA, shall be reviewed, by way of priority, by the Assistant Secretary of Science and Technology, for approval by the Environment Secretary. SEMA may certify regional environmental agencies or entities to approve the applications referred to in the present Order. In which case, a copy of the application and final decision shall be transmitted to SEMA, for communication to the National Department of Water and Electrical Energy, of the Ministry of Mines and Energy.
