Abstract

This Order approves the charter of the Commission which selects alternative/adequate measures for remedying significant damage to be taken on nearby territory of damaged areas or other territories. It consists of seven articles: General provisions (1); Composition of the Commission (2); Functions of the Commission (3); Authority of the Commission (4); Authority of the members of the Commission. Secretariat of the Commission (5); Commission procedure (6); and Commission decisions (7). Among others, the Commission’s functions include to consider information about significant damage to the environment, to select alternative/adequate measures for remedying significant damage to be taken on nearby territory of damaged areas or other territories, or to issue recommendations.
