The main functions of the Agency include regulation of wine-making in Georgia; supervision of grape-based alcohol production, and domestic and international distribution; certification of grape-based alcohol beverages in Georgia; supervision of propagation of grafting and planting materials of vine; and promotion of the culture and history of Georgian vine and wine.
