Abstract

The Order regulates vine and grapes in Georgia. Specifically, it adopts the following rules: “Technical and Phyto-sanitary Control Rules for Production of Grafting Materials and Grafted Species of Vine”, “Certification of Grafting Materials and Grafted Species of Vine”, “Rules for Defining Special Zones of Wine-making and Defining Wine-making region”, “Rules for Taking Grapes from Special Zones of Designated Areas of Origin”, “Rules for Labeling Control of Alcohol Drinks made from Grape-like Products”. The National Wine Agency is responsible for the certifications.
