Abstract This Order validates Technical Regulation on safety of plant protection means (pesticides) and its shall be applicable to plant protection means (pesticides), released in circulation on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the processes of their life cycle. The list of plant protection means (pesticides) covered by the technical regulations and their classifier codes in accordance with the unified Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activities of the Eurasian Economic Union is specified in Annex 1. The requirements of this Technical Regulations shall be applicable to the activities of all natural and legal persons involved in the production (formulation, transportation, storage, sale, application and neutralization of pesticides). Pesticides are released into circulation on the market of the Republic of Kazakhstan if they comply with standards set forth by this Technical Regulation. Pesticides that have passed state registration shall be authorized for manufacturing (formulation), import, storage, transportation, trade, application and shall be inserted in the approved list of pesticides by the authorized institution in the field of plant protection. Packaging and containers for pesticides must ensure safety during storage, transportation and sale of the plant protection means. Packaging and containers must be made of materials specially adapted to protect human beings and the environment from the hazardous properties and impact of the pesticides.
