It also sets criteria for excluding inefficient stud horses that have not passed valuation tests from pedigree programmes for sport saddle-horses. Final selection of the best horse species shall be carried out after zonal selection of the best species of young pedigree sport horses. The fixed date of final selection shall be the last Sunday in August. Pedigree thoroughbred sport horses, including saddle-horses and Arab horses recorded in the State register of selection achievements authorized for animal production, shall be admitted for final annual selection.
