Abstract This Order approves the Regulation for underground storage of natural gas. The Regulation, consisting of 7 Chapters and 1 Annex, provides for the requirements to be satisfied in order to perform research, designing, construction, exploitation within the National territory for undergroud storage of natural gas. The Regulation is divided as follows: Definitions (Chap. I); Geological research (Chap. II); Undergournd deposit designing (Chap. III); Infrastructure security (Chap. IV); Periodical inspections (Chap. V); Certification (Chap. VI); Final provisions (Chap. VII). The Annex specifies the details for underground natural gas escavation.
