Abstract

This Order provides the sanitary rules for rendering water safe by method of ultra violet radiation. It consists of nine chapters: Scope of application (I); Terms, concepts and measurement units (II); General provisions (III); Selection and planning the UV radiation method for rendering water safe (IV); Requirements imposed on the UV device (V); Requirements imposed on the use of the UV device (VI); Requirements for ensuring occupational safety (VII); Technological schemes for rendering water safe by method of ultra violet radiation (VIII); and State sanitary supervision of use of UV devices (IX).
