Reserve shall be located in the Ulcha district of Khabarovsk region with total area of 132700 ha. Reserve shall have the following purposes: (a) conservation, regeneration and reproduction of wild fauna species; (b) conservation of natural habitats and migratory routes of wild fauna species; (c) ecological monitoring; and (d) ecological education. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of reserve: (a) all types of hunting; (b) all types of fisheries and fishing; (c) stay with fishing gear on the territory; (d) logging and procurement of soft resin; (e) irrigation and land reclamation; (f) construction; (g) application of chemicals and fertilizers; (h) recreational activity outside delimited areas; and (i) introduction and acclimatization of living organisms.
