Abstract The Order sets regulations on the trade in timber and timber products with the goal of controlling illegally harvested timber. The Danish Nature Agency carries out the tasks entrusted to the competent authority in accordance with the regulations. Within one working day to delivery and customs clearance indicating the responsible importer, a FLEGT license must be submitted to the Danish Nature Agency - which shall verify the validity of the FLEGT licenses in connection with the import of a shipment covered by the FLEGT licensing scheme.
