1 January 2014. Charges and fees prior to 1 January 2014 shall be charged under previous regulations.
Abstract

The Order sets regulations on fees for the control and subsidy in export, licensing, registration, certification and inspection of food, feed, live animals and companies, equipment and products, including non-food products and non-animal products. The Order does not include regulations on payable fees in accordance to the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs regulation, and on the payment for setting maximum levels of pesticide residues in plant and animal products (meat and fish, milk and eggs). Assembly centers and export isolation stables subject to inspection on livestock transportation through assembly centers and export isolation stables, as well as for control of herd livestock export, including first approval for regular export of cloven-hoofed animals, shall be paying a basic fee. A non-electronic issuance of TRACES Certification (TRAde Control and Expert System) shall be subject to a fee of 375 DKK, while issuance of a temporary Certificate of shall be subject to a fee of DKK 562 (Chapter 14). Among costs and fees, the Order includes regulations on inspection for antibiotic use in swine herds and issuance of injunction on special measures to reduce the use of antibiotics in pig herds. Ordinary inspection of pigs, sows, gilts, dairy cattle and offspring, poultry shall take place as well as for the registration and routine inspection of plants, fence or farm breeding of ostrich, fox, game birds and deer, and registered animal husbandry (it does not apply to aquaculture). Ordinary inspection of food processing pursuant to ecology legislations shall be partly taxed in adherence to EU legislations, as well as the inspection of imported live animals and animal products from countries or territories not members of the European Union (veterinarian import inspection of slurry, pathogens, hay and straw). The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration shall implement European Parliament and Council Regulations and follow WFP guidelines.
