Abstract This Regulation establishes that when transporting animals, the owner of the animal and (or) the responsible person ensures compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of veterinary medicine. When transporting animalsб the owner of the animal and (or) the responsible person must provide: (a) availability of a veterinary document of the animal in accordance with legislation in the field of veterinary medicine; (b) satisfaction of the need for food, water, air, movement, physical needs, as well as the protection of animals from harmful external impacts; and (c) absence of risk to the life and health of passengers, transport workers from transported animals. The owner and (or) responsible person does not allow the carriage of passengers together with animals with obvious signs of the disease - open wounds, suppuration, lichen, an unpleasant smell, demonstrating threatening or restless behavior. Sick animals are subject to transportation in order to provide veterinary care. Transportation of a sick animal is carried out in isolation in order to prevent contact with other animals.
