Abstract

This Order sets regulations concerning the fishing methods utilized for brown shrimps (Crangon crangon) and king prawns (Pandalus montagui). It applies to Danish commercial fishing with Danish registered fishing in all waters. During fishing, it is mandatory to use a selective trawl meeting the following conditions: a trawl able to catch out through a slit at its bottom; of mesh measuring at least 16 mm in full face mask; and of mesh not exceeding 60 mm in full face mask.
