Abstract

Subsidy may be granted to the Danish Forest Association in order to provide advice to private forest owners on mapping and agreements for the protection of forest habitats and species in internationally protected areas. Grants are given to private owners in the community of forest and apply to the mapping of location and conservation status of habitat (1) and to agreements for the realization of Natura-2000 forest planning to ensure species found in Natura-2000 areas comply with targets. Framework of these subsidies is annually set by fiscal year beginning 2011-2013. The Danish Forest Association administers counseling activities in cooperation with the Danish Nature Agency.
