Afforestation shall entail the creation of artificial forest plantations by planting nurslings, seedlings, budwood and seeds. The main types of protection forests planted on arable land shall be forest belts. The afforestation process shall include: (a) determination of the location and area of the plots of land destined for afforestation; (b) preparatory arrangements; (c) soil cultivation; (d) determination of the optimal composition of tree and shrub species; (e) planting; and (f) care.
