Abstract This Order sets regulations on animal welfare control of livestock in farms, in order to ensure requirements on animal welfare are met. It applies to cattle with at least 100 cows; cattle with minimum 200 males and/or females not yet calved; swine herds with at least 300 sows, gilts or boars; swine herds with at least 3 000 slaughter swine (30 kg-slaughter)´; and swine with at least 6 000 piglets (7-30 kg). Documentation thereafter shall be produced and submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Food of Denmark for approval.
