Abstract

This Order establishes the modalities of elaboration and compilation of fisheries industry forecast related to exploration of stocks and setting allowable catch of commercial aquatic species in the EEZ and inland waters of the Russian Federation, EEZ of foreign states and open areas of the World Ocean. The aforesaid forecast shall be the basis for scientific substantiation of state fishery management and rational use of aquatic biological resources. Recommended allowable catch shall be set with the consideration of the available fish stocks and ensuring normal reproduction thereof. The aforesaid forecasts shall include information related to the state of natural habitats of fish stocks and the amount of catch of the previous year.
