Abstract

This Order regulates veterinary controls to be carried out on fresh and frozen bovine embryos traded within EC countries and imported from third countries. It consists of 4 chapters defining different type of embryo and regulating sanitary requirements to be satisfied in order to perform such activity. Annexes A-D list embryo treatment, storage, transport, requirements, etc. as well as conditions to be satisfied by animals and a model form for obtaining a sanitary certificate.
