Abstract The Order sets regulations with regard to fishing methods (fishing with rod and line) and fishing in specific conservation areas at different seasonal periods in the Wadden Sea and in certain southern Jutland streams (Article 1). Fishing for salmo salar and salmo trutta in conservation areas is allowed between 15 September and end of February. Salmon-fishing in Wadden Sea north of Låningsvejen to Mando, in Varde Å, Sneum Å, Konge Å, Ribe Å, Brede Å og Vidå is unauthorized throughout the year. Trap-fishing (including fishing and shrimp traps are permitted only in the Wadden Sea in the period from 1 August to the end of February.
