The Order enters into force from 1 April 2002.
Abstract

This Order implements Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS). The present Instruction is applicable to all new if not otherwise stated the Russian fishing vessels built beginning from 1 July 2002 and determine the extent of application to them of the items 15-28 of the Chapter V “Safe navigation” of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), 1974 . The provisions of the present Order are applicable to all fishing vessels used for catch (harvest) of fish, aquatic biological resources, hunting of seals and walruses, and also for fish processing. The present order regards navigation and radio equipment ensuring safe navigation.
