Abstract The Order sets regulations concerning the control of classical swine fever in livestock destined to human consumption. The Order sets regulations regarding classical swine fever found in livestock, and the management of this disease outbreak. Locations (farms) detecting suspect cases, shall immediately notify the Ministry of Environment and Food through veterinarians responsible for confirming the outbreak. Quarantine of special monitoring areas will be established upon the detection of the disease. Vaccination against the disease is not allowed, however, manipulating, keeping, delivering and distributing classical swine fever is only allowed upon written authorization from the Ministry.
