Abstract This Order provides a closed season for sardine fishing within Portuguese waters using seine net method. It specifies that, exceptionally, the week between 21 and 27 June of 2014, from 00:00 to 24:00 the following provisions will regulate sardine fishing with Seine net method: the catch of sardines is permitted with seine net within the area specified in the text during the period between 00:00 pm on June 21 and 24:00 on 23 June 2014 and the prohibition of capture during 48 consecutive hours between 00:00 on 24 June and 24:00 of 26 June.
