Abstract

This Order approves the Regulation of Slaughterhouses of the National Animal Products. The aim of this Regulation (consisting of 17 chapters) is regulate and manage all slaughtering activity and the relationships between third parties. The Regulation is divides as follows: General provisions (chap. 1); Slaughterhouse objectives (chap. 2); Animals incoming (chap. 3); Urgent slaughtering (chap. 4); Animal protection (chap. 5); Slaughterhouse Services (chap. 6); Sanitary Services (chap. 7); Resources (chap. 8); Meat markings (chap. 9); Sanitary, freezer and other provisions (chap. 10-13); Hygiene requirements (chap. 14-16); Personnel (chap. 17).
