Abstract

Fees for the examination of the application shall be collected at the rate of one tenth (1/10) of minimum monthly salary established by law. Fees for issuing authorization for transboundary (transit) movement of hazardous waste shall be collected at the rate of three (3) minimum monthly salaries established by law. The aforesaid fees shall be collected prior to the examination of the application. The aforesaid fees shall be considered government revenues. The modalities of collection and use of environmental fees for carrying out ecological audit of the materials substantiating ecological safety of transboundary movement of waste shall be set by the Regulation on ecological audit. The Department of State Ecological Survey and Environmental Security is entitled to exercise control over the application of this Regulation. The territorial (local) branches of the State Committee for Ecology must be guided in their activity by this Regulation. The deputy chief of the President of the State Committee for Environmental Protection is entitled to supervise the fulfilment of this Order.
