This Order enters into force on 1 November 2004.
Abstract

This Order sets regulations on international trade of wild animal and plant species, as well as parts and derivates thereof. Any import to and export from Greenland of these – which are listed in the Washington Convention/CITES list - are only permitted through authorization granted by the National Directorate of Environment and Nature. Application of permission is required and import authorization shall valid for a maximum of 6 months. Trade in specimens of protected species in adherence to the Environmental Protection Act No. 29 of 18 December 2003 is not allowed.
