Abstract

The Minister orders to validate the Regulation. Biologically active food additives must not contain drastic substances, drugs and poisonous substances, as well as vegetable raw materials not used in the medicine and nutrition. The present Regulation regards certification of nutriceutics that are the sources of nutritional substances in doses not exceeding 6 human daily needs, and parapharmaceutics containing doses of active substances lower than therapeutic. Hygienic certification of biologically active food additives includes: 1) expertise of accompanying documentation; 2) carrying out sanitary and chemical, biological or other types of research; 3) valuation of the results of research; 4) issuing hygienic certificate. The document consists of 5 Sections. Section 1 lays down general provisions. Section 2 establishes the modalities of hygienic certification of biologically active food additives. Section 3 regards expertise of documentation. Section 4 regards expert valuation of biologically active food additives. Section 5 regards legalization and period of validity of hygienic certificate of biologically active food additives.
