This Order enters into force on the date of publication.
Abstract

This Order regulates the exploitation of primordial forests and other plants in South, South-East, Middle-West and North-East regions. It consists of 26 articles and 6 annexes specifying the requirements to be sastisfied in order to obtain an authorization for performing this activity. It also prohibits the logging of 'Caryocar spp' tree species in aforementioned areas and establishes the conditions to be satisfied for transporting forest products under the control of Ibama. Annexes list the model forms in order to request a licence for forest exploitation.
