Abstract

This Order establishes the Regulation for issuing a financial assistance to the genetic improvement and preservation of the bovine varieties (period 2000-2006). The Regulation (consisting of 3 Annexes) involves national species, exotic and 'Frísia' bovine varieties and aims to the: preservation and improvement of genetic species, in particular by keeping the registration book and by carrying out controls on these sectors. Requirements to be met by stockbreeding centres are specified in the text.
