Abstract

National Natural Park “Tuzlovski limany” is located on the territory of the Tatarbunar district of Odesa region. The park is a budgetary, non-profit, nature conservation, recreational, cultural and educational, scientific research institution and is part of the nature reserve fund of Ukraine, protected as a national property, with a special regime of protection, reproduction and management. Land plot and land area with a total area of 2022 hectares, with all natural resources and objects withdrawn from economic use are allotted to the park for permanent use. Prior to establishing the boundaries of the park on the ground, its boundaries are determined in accordance with the “Tuzlovski limany” Park Constituting Project. The boundaries of the plots of land pertaining to the park management are delimited in situ (on the ground) and fixed with boundary signs in the manner specified by law. Information about the boundaries, purpose, assessment, area of land plots pertaining to the park management and restrictions on their use are entered into the State Land Cadastre in accordance with the procedure established by law and must be taken into account during the reconstruction and development of adjacent territories. The park was constituted with the aim of conservation, reproduction and rational use of unique natural complexes of wetlands of international significance as a habitat for waterfowl, as well as objects of the Northern Black Sea region, which have important environmental protection, scientific, historical-cultural, aesthetic, recreational and health significance. The main tasks of the park are: (a) preservation and reproduction of valuable natural and historical and cultural complexes and natural objects of the territory, primarily wild fauna and wild flora species, and natural habitats thereof, listed in Red Bok of Ukraine and international Red Lists; (b) creation of conditions for organized tourism, recreation and other types of recreational activities in natural conditions with observance of the security regime of protected complexes and objects; (c) organization and implementation of scientific and research works, including study of natural complexes and their changes in recreational conditions, development and implementation of scientific recommendations on issues related to protection of the natural environment, monitoring of landscape and biodiversity; (d) revival of local traditions of nature management, local centers of artistic crafts and other types of folk creativity, etc.; and (e) carrying out ecological educational work.
