Abstract

This Procedure defines the mechanism of interaction between the administration of sea fishing ports, port points, the bases of vessels of the fishing industry fleet and the State Inspectorate to ensure compliance with the legislation on environmental protection in the event of detection of dumping by ships (vessels) of polluting substances within the water area of the sea fishing port, port points and places where ships are based. Interaction is carried out through the administration of the sea fishing port, the port point, the place where the ships are based and the territorial and interregional territorial bodies of the State Environmental Inspectorate. In the case of detection of cases of discharge of polluting substances by ships within the water area of the ships' bases, the harbour administration ensures unhindered access to the ships' bases for the purpose of execution by the state environmental protection inspectors exercising their powers within the relevant territory.
