Abstract

This Order sets guidelines on decisions for the allocation of credits in accordance to the point system applied for serious infringements during fishery. This system is applied to a period of 3 years at a time. The Order’s purpose is to prevent, deter and eliminate illegal, un-reported and un-regulated fishing (IUU). Points shall be decided and awarded by the Danish AgriFish Agency when an offense is covered by one or more of the categories listed in Annex XXX of EU Commission Regulation No. 404/2011 of 8 April 2011. Maximum point allocation is 90, which is the threshold for permanent withdrawal of fishing license.
