The National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority, in cooperation with the competent authorities involved, stipulated in Law no. 150/2004 on food safety, amended by Law no. 412/2004, are in charge of controlling the fulfillment of the provisions of Schedule I ruling on veterinary and food safety and taking necessary measures under the legal limits of their competence. The National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority, in cooperation with the competent authorities involved, take measures to ensure that sampling methods to perform official controls on contaminant limits are carried out for the products listed from Appendices II to IX ruling on veterinary and food safety.
