Abstract This Order amends the regime of production and trade of wines with the Geographical Indication (GI) «Terras da Beira». Amendments deal with the geographical area of production of GI «Terras da Beira» as well as Varieties suitable for wine production with GI «Terras da Beira». In addition, it establishes the maximum yield per hectare of vineyards intended for the production of wines and wine products entitled to the GI «Terras da Beira» as follows: a) 90 hectolitres/hectare for white, rosé, semi-sparkling and sparkling wine and wine products; b) 85 hectolitres/hectare for red wines.
