The organization of elaboration and carrying out forest fire prevention arrangements shall be the competence of the regional executive bodies that must ensure the application thereof through the regional forest management bodies. The regional forest management bodies shall organize inspection of activity of the owners of forest stock and forest managers as regards carrying out arrangements ensuring timely detection and extinguishing forest fires taking in consideration that protection of forests against forest fires is one of the state priorities. The forestries shall have the following duties: 1) construction of ground-based watch-posts; 2) to carry out preparatory arrangements for patrolling of the territory by forest protection aviation units. Information obtained from artificial satellites of the Earth in the form of pictures shall be used for control of the state and dynamics of spreading of forest fires of poorly protected forested areas.
