It also establishes the subsequent processing or trade of poultry products obtained as the result of slaughtering of poultry infected with ornithosis. Ornithosis shall be diagnosed on the basis of the analysis of the epizootic situation, clinical symptoms, the presence of the characteristic pathological and anatomical changes and laboratory testing. Infected poultry or suspected of being infected shall be subject to slaughtering. After slaughtering poultry-yards shall be subject to disinfection. After the exposure of ornithosis in a poultry farm quarantine must be imposed and shall include the following provisions: 1) prohibition to transfer flocks on the territory of poultry farm; 2) prohibition of the utilization of incubation eggs originating from adverse poultry farms; 3) prohibition of the transportation of eggs and poultry to the other poultry farm for the integration of flocks; 4) transportation of eggs from the poultry farms infected by ornithosis to the trading organization.
