Abstract This Order establishes protective measures for marine turtles 'Dermochelys coriacea', 'Chelonia mydas', 'Eretmochelys imbricata' and 'Lepidochelys olivacea'. It consists of 4 articles prohibiting the transit of every type of vehicles along sea-shores of certain States of Brazil, in order to protect the aforementioned animal species during they lay eggs in the sand.
