Abstract

This Order provides additional requirements imposed on fishing vessels of Georgian flag that are engaged in international navigation. It consists of six articles: General provisions (1); Definition of terms (2); Fishing vessels that are engaged in illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing (3); Obligations of a fishing vessel (4); Authority of the Maritime Transport Agency (5); and Liability (6). This order has been developed to prevent, stop and eliminate IUU fishing by vessels engaged in international navigation of the Georgian state flag.
