The animals may be assigned to the Regional Unit (UR), Outpost (PA), Conservation Unit (UC) or INEMA headquarters in Salvador, through voluntary releasing, seizure during inspection, for risk to animal or population. The technical staff responsible for receiving or catching must fill out the Form for the Destination of Wild Animals, Products and/or By-Products (F-TEC-123) and in case of seizures, the F-TEC-109 must be completed. The animals shall be subject to the following procedures: Identification of the species; Identification of the area; Physical and behavioural assessment.
