Abstract This Order, consisting of 13 articles, regulates exploitation of devitalized and dry wood from native tree species of the Atlantic Forest and Cerrado biomes within the State of Paraná. Removal operations in forests should be performed preferably with animal traction, without using heavy equipment and/or large, such as crawler tractors. Exploitation of timber in Permanent Preservation Areas shall be prohibited, unless the timber is causing risks of erosion and/or contributing to environmental degradation as obstructing watercourse.
