Abstract

This Order, consisting of 34 articles and 3 Annexes, provides for Brucellosis vaccination procedures, regulates the transit of animals and creates procedures to be adopted in Mato Grosso do Sul. Vaccination against brucellosis of female cows and buffaloes aged 3-8 months is mandatory in every state, with the application of a single dose of vaccine produced from the sample B 19 and should be performed under the supervision of a registered veterinarian in IAGRO. The farmer can choose the best time of vaccination, however, in the months of May and November, all females 3-8 months of age which have not yet been vaccinated should receive vaccine against brucellosis.
