Abstract This Order, consisting of 3 articles, provides for the licensing exemption for bovine and ovine breeding in extensive systems within the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It establishes the exemption from environmental licensing in the state of Rio Grande do Sul the following: the Extensive System in Cattle Breeding activities and Breeding in Extensive System, in which the animals stay in the field and a maximum of six hours stuck in appropriate construction, feed directly pasture or other forage production and waste produced are absorbed directly into the ground. These practices will be under the competence of the State Environmental Protection Foundation - FEPAM, according to Resolution CONSEMA No. 288/2014.
